ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Some settings, like “Windshield effects” and others do not save.
After setting them to another value et go “Back and Save”, they switch back to their original state after restarting the simulator.
Same for the keyboard: I selected “H” for “toggle hook” and deselected everything else.
Next time a start the sim, I crash again because “H” went back to “decrease mixture and condition level”
Unflyable!

  1. Go to settings, change the value of windshield effect
  2. Back and save
  3. restart the sim
    4.Values are the same as before

Allow traffic in career mode setting is one for the list

The preferences for the EFB, the preferences for the weather and time don’t save as well from a session to the next.

can confirm
xbox series x
some settings wont save
for example i did some custom keyboard and hotas one settings, saved the settings, but sometimes when i restart the whole sim or even when i am ingame, the settings suddenly change back to default settings …

I turned on AI Traffic in Career Mode, but the setting didnt persist after sim restart as well.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When assigning controls to controller buttons, and deleting the already assigned default key bindings, the deleted bindings will be reassigned when restarting the sim.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time the sim is restarted

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue: Go into the control configuration menu and assign a control to a button. Delete any default assigned binding and on restart the default assignment will be reassigned.

What peripherals are currently plugged in? Please name all of them as there could be a potential conflict.

I don’t know why, an update, a bug but I had configured my commands and some are lost.
Forced to have to reconfigure my commands, it’s annoying when you think they are.

Thank you! Additional hint (you never know), in the controllers section, the mouse shows twice. Maybe it’s a sign of some register not cleared or somethin’!

I also have a problem with the joysticks! I have two T16000M sticks. The first one saves my RIGHT JOY profile just fine, but every time I restart or switch planes, the second one, LEFT JOY, doesn’t retain its configuration!

ps : So I have two profiles, but the one for the second joystick always defaults back (even after selecting the default configuration and applying it to all aircraft).

I’ve seen this too. One of them was recognized and the other said “Wrong device” any time I tried to search input for it. And at the time, my mouse button could not be used to interact with anything in the cockpit. It took a console reboot to clear it up.

I use the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo with SpadNext.
My general and aircraft profiles are empty and are activated to be default. However, after a flight, return to the main menu, restart MSFS. Which is problematic.
You have to remember to delete the entered commands each time.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Saved settings are not being saved like CFD, Traffic name plates are set to OFF but are always becoming ON (default setting) within a few minutes. Live weather is turned back to Preset (default).

  2. Back into the sim when using cabin view it’s all back to default

Settings are reset. Not all the times but most of the times.
For example, even if I turned it off the taxi ribbon, CFD, they are set to ON with the next running of MSFS2024.

I’m fed up that my personal graphics configurations are always erased

How to reproduce that stupid bug :

Record specific graphics configurations, for example :

  • High
  • Ultra for clouds
  • DLSS Auto

Quit the game and reload

Ohhh, the parameters were not stored, too bad.

Someone made a menu, but nobody took the time to test if that menu was lined with an effective action.
