Is it just me or.. I spend about 3 hours trying all the planes MSFS has given us. a Lot of them.. the VS switch does not work. if you want to have aa higer decent or lower is does not respond. click up nothing happens..click down nothing. Some do a 500 FPM up or down..no more and no less is possible.
That is absolutely not right. Why is the switch even there?
Which instrument are you using? Set a target altitude, select VS and use the appropriate key or rotary dial to set
You do have the AP on when changing the VS? Just checking because we’ve had some folks think the VS worked separately from the AP. I can’t speak to any third-party aircraft, but I’ve never had an issue with any of the regular aircraft with no mods of any kind loaded. Possibly a conflict with some mod that’s loaded?

Thank you so much for your response. I am drefdully sorry, but I was not very clear.. I fly MSFS with an XBOX- X. The planes I have purchased, with the exception of one, all the FS switchs work fine and on the planes that came with the MSFS with G1000 all work fine.
The PC12 and several others miss the mark totally.
I have been flying XPlane since Version 8 and they are sticklers that the planes work properly like the rl planes.
I do know the sequence.. dial in your target altitude , if available..turn on AP, then Turn on VS and then dial in your up or down speed..usually fet per min.. but it is embarassing how badly some of the planes MSFS has given us work so poorly.

well.. I tried changing everything..it is a problem with some of the plane. The AB320 ia sad the way they have decided to do the VS. Make it up if you don’t know how it works. I know on the PC the Pilatus 12 is a peach to fly, as it should be..everything works.
