I mean on occasion when I load the game (as in get into the cockpit) it is a slideshow maybe 1 or 2 FPS. If I go out to the main menu and come back in it is the same. But then often if I exit the game and reload I will be back to a more normal 30-40 FPS in Ultra Mode.
I have really only noticed this since sim update 12. It may have happened before (but very rare) previously. Now it is for me maybe on ever 5th or sixth game start. Yesterday I had to reboot to fix it.
I did look and no background tasks that I could find and CPU and GPU are close to 0-2% prior to loading the game. With no real unusual tasks running.
I am running a Nvidia 3070TI and an AMD 3700X. Also when the framerate is really poor it is using the GPU I checked. But it is really strange and I wonder if anyone else has seen this. I am also running the latest Nvidia drivers and fully patched Windows 11.

I had something similar after updating to SU 12. Everything would run smooth on the first flight. If I restarted the flight or started another flight from the world map, I would start getting micro-stutters and it would get worse with each restart. Then after exiting and re-loading the sim it would be smooth again for the first flight. Rinse and repeat. I tried all kinds of things with no change, but then it started acting normal again after a couple of days. I have no idea why or if I accidently fixed it with something I tried.

I got exact the same Issue. Sometimes I have to restart my PC, and sometimes even this doesn’t help.
I also noticed that the last 10% of the loading bar and the cases take forever.
In the cases it works well, it only takes a few seconds.

This is exactly what is happening to me! The first flight is always perfectt, the second flight is generally perfect but the third flight becomes stuttery and unplayable. The only fix is to exit MSFS and reload. If anyone has any info or fixes I’d appreciate it. Thanks
