ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Occasionally, a mission will spawn a stop point on top of a building or inside it. This makes completing said mission impossible. If you skip said part of mission, you will be teleported to the top of the building, or inside it, and crash. If you attempt to go into the building, you crash. This also makes skipping incredible dangerous on the ground in career mode, thus making the skip function pointless and punishing.

EDIT: Keeping a list of airports with broken parking.

• CNA3
• ENTC
• EGSV
• RWDR
• EDOA
• EGHF
• EDVR
• VTKA

1. Do career missions. See above for confirmed airports with broken parking spots.
2. Occasionally see that the blue square objectives to stop your plane are on top of, or inside, other physics based objects.
3. Note that skipping or attempting to enter said objects causes you to crash at your own expense because insurance doesn’t work (separate bug).

Career mode at EGSV wants you to taxi through a building.

I can reproduce this taking a mission at ENTC with a C172 for Cargo transport. My plane spawns on top of a building.

This is starting to get absolutely infuriating. These missions do not take an insignificant amount of time. They really need to remove punishments and simply have career be A to B in terms of requirements and that’s it. If you are in the vicinity, you can finish it. There is no shot they fix all these bugs in a reasonable time frame.

If I skip here, I crash (a bug). Then I will get 0% insurance coverage (a bug), and a massive reputation hit from S to C (also a bug I think). The game simply can’t support these idiotic punishments with the current type and quantity of bugs. Even if I could finish the mission, I would probably get a bad following procedures score (YET ANOTHER BUG).

It really doesn’t help that it seems VIP charters LOVE these small out of the way airports. You can barely land on them with the wind as is only to find out parking is on top of, or inside a building. So much of this game was not tested it’s unreal. Why would you launch with such requirements if you knew it wasn’t working? The only answer is you didn’t know, which mean it was not tested.

On my map I am tracking broken airports, and half of my private charter missions go to broken airports. They always select the same ones when generating missions and they are always the small out of the way ones. Private charter is a career killer.

Description of the issue:

In Career Mode, I was directed to park at a location that was on a rooftop, making it impossible to reach. When I chose to skip the taxiing phase, the aircraft spun once on the roof and was flagged as crashed.

Exactly same issue here. Same airports, same parking stand.

Tried to skip, then the airplane is positioned on the roof and falls through the roof and crashes. Then I got the option to “Restart” the mission or go back to “Main Menu”.

In other missions I had invisible obstacles that caused airplane crashes. I lost a lot of reputation but it was not my fault. Kind of frustrating.

it will happen at start of the mission too, and it will crash if not immediately skip to take off.
I’ve try to restart the mission but it still spawning on top of the building, it cost me a lot of reputation

Just ran a VIP charter. Landed at destination airfield only to find parking stand inside hanger building. Unable to complete mission. Another hour of my life wasted! Becoming a frustratingly and depressingly familiar occurrence.
