SPAD.neXt Profiles for Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo including CRJ

Hi. I’m looking to configure Honeycomb Bravo to control the FBW A320nx custom autopilot. Can Spad.neXt do this (i.e. access the unmapped variables used by FBW) or is it limited to assignments in MSFS? Welcome your advice.

Assuming they use LVARS than yes. But I don’t have any first had experience with it and SPAD.neXt.

Yes you can. For example, the altitude knob in the aircraft is push/pull for Managed/Selected mode. You can configure the ALT button on the Bravo for a quick press for Managed, and long press for Selected. You can do this for the Speed and Heading as well. There are tons of helpful people on SPAD.next discord, where I learned how to program all the buttons. Also, you can download my A320 profile for SPAD. Look for my user name, Agent45. I have published profiles for the Airbus using Alpha, Bravo, Logitech radio, Streamdeck hardware.

You do not need Complete Edition to upload Profiles and Snippets in SPAD.neXt…

You just need to connect your Hardware ID and Order ID in the SPAD Forum under your user profile… eventually that is going to change but for now you have to set that up there first… It’s a legacy thing from many years ago…

I always thought it was a Complete Edition thing. Thanks.

Just copied your profile to A32NX - great stuff thank you.

Liking the engine buttons on the Bravo :grinning:

Good deal! I recently added an X-Touch Mini for dedicated FCU knobs…check one out.

LOL I don’t even fly that aircraft. I only did it to gain some insight how I might do things on the CRJ as I was running into difficulty there. But glad you enjoy it.

I’ve also a nice Alpha/Bravo profile for CRJ set up now. Did you get sorted?

Yeah I figured it out.

Hey all as someone that just got the Honeycomb set and found out to my dismay that the CRJ did not play well with it I grabbed Spad after seeing this post but for the life of me I just cant work out how to use the downloaded profile. I have added it to the folder and can select it and assign specific CRJ to it but for the life of me i cant work out how to get my alpha and bravo working with the downloaded profile.

Have changed to beta and installed the LVAR files in the Community folder as well.

Les O’Reilly has some great videos on You Tube on this.

I started using GitHub instead of just sharing my folder from OneDrive. I updated the link in the first post.

Right now there are no releases. You can download individual files as needed.

I have added more planes since the initial post.

They should all be considered WIP at the moment. But I hope in the future to provide a more robust and feature rich config along with documentation.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to configure the HC Bravo lights to come on/off via Spad.next?

I hear that this is not possible yet, but the feature will be included “soon”. Until then the suggested workaround is to use the Better Bravo lights mod from flightsim.to (haven’t tried this myself though).

Lights all work in the Alpha Release channel of SPAD.neXt

AP panel doesn’t seem to work. ALT changes the Altimeter not the altitude and it only increases the altimeter. All other nobs do nothing. What could be wrong?

I have no lights on my Bravo at all now, either with Better Bravo Lights or AFC Bridge :frowning:

Try launching the Better Bravo Lights manually, that’s what I have to do every time.

Today there was an update to the SPAD.next software. Ever since the update, MSFS doesn’t seem to recognize my inputs that I modified with SPAD.next any more. What could be the problem (profile is active and assigned to aircraft)? The only thing I use SPAD.next for is to up the trim wheel sensitivity for the bravo quadrant.

I’m not a SPAD.next expert at all, any advice or pointers would be appreciated…
