Across the board and places like Aerosoft EBBR, SimWings EDDM, IniBuilds EGLL, MaccoSim EGCC, I see very sparse traffic at gates both, with live traffic as well as AIG Traffic controller and traffic density maxed out. Anyone seen it as well?
Have you maxed out the Ground Aircraft slider as well?
Same here. Something’s up for sure
Yes, and the sliders are at 100.
It seems to be very inconsistent.
Yes I did max them out
My observation (e.g. at EBBR Aerosoft). I always fly with “live traffic” and use Simple Traffic (don’t use AIG).
- If I start a flight there it is empty but within 15 minutes (as I prepare to pushback) AI aircraft have landed and several appeared at gates so it’s reasonably full by the time I leave.
- If I end a flight there (e.g. coming from EDDK) by the time I land the airport has many AI (real-time) aircraft.
You can still use AIG for the models and just use the “Live Traffic” mode without the need to use the Traffic Controller app. It basically works just like Simple Traffic, but using AIG models instead which is higher fidelity and more accurate models and liveries.
That is strange… Ground aircraft slider is specifically made to render parked aircraft at the gate, and completely separate from the moving AI traffic aircraft. If it doesn’t appear on the gates with the slider maxed out, there’s definitely something wrong with the installed air traffic models.
EBBR is fine for me but AIG wont load into inibuilds EGLL or KIAD just empty airports.
I have some experience with Maccosim. I’ve previously had a look at the layout in ADE (not recommended as it completely screws up the terrain). The runways have no taxi links apart from the start and end, which is why AI take ages to exit (partially solved with AIFlow from Flightsim.to).
The parking stands are odd sizes which then conflicts with the model radius’s. I’ve had no luck editing the file, it’s on Maccosim to update it. I did hear on the grapevine that they are working on a complete rebuild, but nothing official.
Oops just noticed this is an old thread…
