Hi,
I had some trouble with SU5 and used the “Repair” function given by steam. After that, the entire game was deleted and I am required to re-download everything…
However I waited until SU6, because my Downloader / launcher always CTD. Sometime I am able to download 10 gb, sometime 30 gb, however the CTD always happens.
So I checked Windows … and now I got the following issue:

So I repaired again via steam aaaaand…full dowload required… -.-
All drivers are up-to-date, I repaired everything, no 3rd party running.
I have no chance anymore to re-install MSFS 
I heard about this “Verify files” issue in Steam. I never had any problem with Steam, and switching from the MS Store to Steam was the best choice I made so far.
For your installation issue, I may have fully wrong, but did you monitor your GPU temperature? The internal installer have a tendency to hammer the GPU as if you don’t have any vsync enabled it will work at 100% and can overheat. If that’s the case I suggest to try to limit fps through an external program (like RivaTuning) or through your GPU drivers (it exist for us NVidia users, not sure for AMD). You can also edit the usercfg.opt file to set the vsync to ON before launching the Sim.
I just checked the GPU, u are right, it’s running at 100 %. That could be a real issue. I try to limit the FPS.

Okay, this reduced GPU load to 35 %, however it once again crashed during download…

To your issue:
please recheck that the error message with Renoir… is the latest one - these one which happen while download.
The FAQ mentioned different things you can do and also the forum is full of hints. May be check that hints and tell us what you tried.
If you would give us some hints about your computer specs ( RAM, GPU, free Disc space , kind of network connection, Applications which run in parallel (e.g. process lasso, or other tools ) ) , as what was asked within the issue template which you ignored, we can possible also tell you directly some “pittfalls”.
PS.: in case you own nvidia, not limit the fps with RivaTuner. Just do it with nvidia control center an set both limis “max fps” and “max background fps”. The second one can be much lower, the window is just in background.
