STEAM version MSFS-2024 - no option to instal to another disk

Why can’t I install MSFS2024 on a different drive than it was in MSFS20?
Why does it download, install data and stream on my system drive?
The SYMLINK is not a solution, it’s a workaround only.

Within steam look at settings, storage. There you can allocate another drive. Then when you install any steam game itll ask you which drive. I gave mine on an external nvme ssd.

I have been a STEAM user for 13 years.
I know how to add disks and install games.
Only FS Launcher (cca. 12GB with flightsimulator.exe file) is installed on another disk, but streaming and the ROLLINGCACHE are already copied to C:\user***\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
And that is unacceptable to me.

The Base Game has not much GB. The location of the content like Aircraft, Szenery & community can be set directly in the SIM. See topic “where is the community folder”

Short - go to Marketplace , then to Library, then click small Cogwheel on the right side above the list. There you can set the location for the official/community folders.

My question was more about why the whole MSFS2024 can’t be on one disk.
Why does the installation have to be split?
And why the Roaming profile?
The MS Store version installs it into the Local Profile.
And in general, it’s such a long, unintuitive path that even a regular user is completely lost.
What leads Asobo to do these crazy things?
