After my first trial on day 1, I decided to launch again today the sim after having read that things were getting better… It took me 10 minutes to reach 16% of VFS activating package… then I gave up.
What is going on ??
I’m sad to say that it’s going backwards for me. I was able to enter the sim 4 times so far. Last night I said, let me try to do another flight. Ended up in the loading screen of free flight for an hour and it still didn’t load.
Yep its 70 hours since relase and still no luck getting into menu. Everytime it gets stuck at 97%. I mean I don’t even know what to say anymore..
Yup I’m in the same boat I was able to get in and fly for about 3 hrs now stuck at 98% for over 28 hrs woke up to the same situation. Not happy after what I spent
4 hours ago it was working well for me.
but then the servers gave up again. Not a chance to get into any flight from the menu. Its an up and down right now.
I could play 2 hours in the last 4 days since i had luck with 1 login. Rest of it either lucky to see the menu but not able to start a flight… and most of the time 97% loading bar stuck.
I bet Jörg will come out today with another useless support message on X…
“We are seein more and more users entering the sim… we enhanced the servers capacity by 1 TB but we know there are still people with problems. We work so hard to get a solution but its difficult please forgive us”

Ya super frustrating can’t even get past the 98% screen day one I was able to play for like 4hrs now nothing plus Microsoft won’t refund me because they said Iv reached my refund limit for the year wtf ok I did refund one other item. Microsoft this is totally unacceptable from a loyal supporter and game pass member
Did you have any marketplace purchases in MSFS 2020?
If so they may be causing a conflict, but there is a workaround!
5 days in and still haven’t made it past the 97% or customise identity spinning wheel of doom. How much longer are we supposed to wait?

It’s a bit time consuming, but here it is.
For every MP addon, place an empty folder with the exact same name in FS2024 Community folder.
Start the sim. That’s it!
What a lot of folks are doing is copying the folders from FS2020 into 2024 and then emptying them so they contain nothing.
It seems to work for a good many!
