I’m experiencing this issue since SU8 no matter the graphic quality low, medium, high or ultra and using render scale in 80% from 1080p, this strangers crossed lines appears every time and they are most visible in movement, it follows a very low and blurry terrain quality that affects runways and taxiways too, before SU8 i used the same medium graphics settings and didn’t experienced this issue…
I´ve tried to reset graphics, settings files and rolling cache, tried to remove all stuff of my community folder and reinstall de graphics driver and the whole simulator without success.
With a good graphics settings adjusts i can run this simulator with acceptable performance with this GPU… this issue can be related to my low VRAM or can be related to another thing like internet settings? I hope this have a fix because before SU8 i didn´t remember this issue…
I think the 2 gigs of ram on your video card is going to be your issue. It could be with your network, you might have high latency which will cause resends you can go here and see what latency score you have.
Disregard the bufferbloat stuff, unless you know your running a modem/router with a puma chipset.
I did the test three times and got Grade C, one time Grade A
here is the last test i did
I notice when the load of download and upload rises the latency rises too, mainly the upload sometimes the download latency…
I got the same issue with Star Citizen that uses the streaming system too, the planet textures won´t load from cockpit camera when i arrive to orbit, only when i change to external camera and appears to force the texture streaming loading and everything works well…
I think it can be related to my old network cable, my network sometimes dont stay in 1000/1000 and down to 100/100, i´ll try to change and see if the test runs better!
EDIT: My modem is a Kaon CG3000 provided by ISP Claro.
No problem, you might want to look up the specs for the modem and see if it uses broadcom or intel puma chipset, if it uses the intel puma chipset, I would look at replacing it with a broadcom based one. I switched over and it didnt make a difference here, because the latency issue is my isp for me. Even after I made the switch nothing change. A new cable will defiantly help as well.
Good luck, and feel free to ask for more help if you need it.
