Strange duplication of waypoints in FMC using Airbus A320/A330 (default planes)

I am experiencing strange behaviour with the Airbus FMC system on all default Airbus planes. It seems that when picking depart/arrival SIDS/STARS it seems okay, but as soon as I want to build some waypoints (Jetways, Vector ways etc) manually by entering them into the f-plan section, there is a duplication of waypoints. Normally, when a waypoint is added, the FMC turns yellow in order to add the waypoint or erase it, but this does not happen. Instead, the waypoint is added to a duplicated plan which can be seen by scrolling down after the arrival, where a duplicate plan has been created along with the waypoint being there. It is a pain, so I have reverted back to the latest non-beta build, which fixes the problem.

I have a rolling cache of 128GB, also downloaded nearly 370GB worth of assets to my nvme drive.

Here is a link to a video showing the problem

These are my specs:

AMD R7-9800XD3 processor
NVIDIA RTX 5090 Graphics card
2TB NVME Gen 4
64GB DDR5 (6400mhz/XMP)
Windows 11
Using latest drivers for everything

Same happens on xbox.

Thank you for posting this it saved me  doing the same. I tested multiple IniBuilds A332/A333 same symptoms as what you described. This was not the issue in SU2.

The good thing (for me as Xbox user with thrustmaster airbus controls), reversers are now working on A330 using throttle quadrant.

another issue with FMC, when entry is made the line is not cleared so you have to manually clear the line to enter new text.

Same for me (Xbox).

I tested all inibuild Airbus aircraft and all of them does the same waypoint glitch. Strangely inserting airways does not cause a duplicate flight plan only the insertion of waypoints.

The only way to fly a route now is to use simbrief, it’s not possible to enter a flight plan manually.

I’ve tried the new beta 3 patch which came out in the last 24 hours. The issue still persists, so that still needs to be addressed.

I am glad they are addressing other issues though.

I noticed on my flight plan. there is a error in altitude. The MCDU flies the plane almost 2000ft higher than it should. And there still is the duplicate plan if i use simbrief.

I’m also having this issue, very annoying!

Having the same issue on the A320 and 30 but not on the 21 for some reason, that one works fine. Haven’t tested the Beluga yet
