Please add the msfs-2020 or msfs-2024 tag to your post, depending on which sim your post is about.
Cant run Stranger Things activity just get a constant spinning thing on screen. Then I have to close game and reload. But still not working.
Here’s my screen 10 minutes after trying to add Stranger Things to my library - completely frozen at 98%. I had to end MSFS by task manager. Something is broken with this, on my system at least. Steam version.

I also had to wait for the download to complete but it ended successfully, maybe due to high demand ?

Are you also stuck on the downloading/installing Marketplace screen ?
After my forced shutdown of MSFS 2024 via task manager, I waited an hour or so and tried getting Stranger Things again and it looks like my original acquirement of it must have worked, as it now shows as Owned without me having done anything else.
Yes I was. But after closing msfs2024 and restarting then trying the download twice it worked OK.

After force-quitting my sim and restarting, the pack now shows as “Owned” and I see the Taog Huey appears in my aircraft list in Free Flight.
Mission 2 is bugged… Wait for boardin; no one ever enters
I saw no option to NOT acquire it… so I clicked, and like everyone above, am stuck at 98%.
Not sure if I should force quit, or how long to leave it before force quitting.

first: why is the topic closed? The problem still persists.
Download must be complete, because there is no traffic at all.
I will now kill the sim and restart, but that can not be a serious solution!

Agreed! The “solution” is a very bad work-around for a much deeper issue.
I’ve got the same problem i.e. stuck a 98%. A bug report would encourage MS to identify and fix the actual cause.
