Looks like we will not be able to play during the weekend. I feel sorry for people who bought Aviator edition and are already for a 4th day seeing just an infinite loading screen.
That is still a MS and Asobo server issue incompatibility with certain ISP configs. All The tipps of reinstalling, restarting and deleting cache tipps are useless placebos

In my experience if youāre at 97% and see a message at the bottom of the screen along the lines of āloading taking too long error log createdā then you may as well restart the app as it never recovers from that point.
I know but reinstalls and restarts didnt help and meanwhile also no VPN.
Day Nr 4ā¦ i am proud of your absolut incompetenceā¦ thinking about a refund cause its 130ā¬ down the drain.
They seem to be auto-granting refunds by now.

Iām in AUS and Iāve tried a VPN to West Coast USA while all of North America is in bed. It still gets stuck at 97% and doesnāt load. This thing is just completely broken.
Asobo have exceeded all of my expectations, unfortunately in totally the wrong direction. 12 hours of trying to start 2024 and total failure, yet they post updates saying how things are working now. Iām so frustrated at this point.
Now loading 2020 to fly the Fenix by a quality software development team that makes products that work.

VPN doesnāt help!! Have tried through USA, Australia etc this morning all have stopped at 97%. If it going to take as long as it did to get issues resolved with 2020 this should be playable early 2027.

I have the Steam Version this wont work
Is there an option to delete the game data and restart clean? Thatās what this one did. My control bindings came back from the cloud thankfully.
Where is the cache and game data located in the steam version?
Iāve no idea I donāt use steam. Maybe try a very similar option āResetā in the system settings hereā¦
I had the same problem I cleared space on the drive and all ok now,
I installed FS24 via Steam on the Streaming PC Shadow. I have the same problem with beeing stuck at 97% since release on Tuesday. I tried everything like reinstallation, restart, file repair, changing from c: to d: and so on. Nothing succeeds. When Asobo will not fix it quickly I want my money back.
OK so my excitement was very short lived and this program has let me down again. Back stuck at 97%.
What happened? It told me my MSFS 2020 content was added and to restart the sim, so I did. Now itās stuck.
I think I see a pattern, on Wednesday when I was able to get in twice there was no 2020 content, it was all disabled by MS, and it was working.
Since then theyāve enabled much (but not all) of the 2020 content and that is breaking it. Some marketplace addon is stopping the sim from loading.
To cap it all of off although I can reset again and get in once, and see the items in the library, the there is no button to disable content, so thereās nothing I can do about this. Iām completely stuck.
I have lots of addons on marketplace from my years on xbox and PC. At least with MSFS2020 I could just install what I needed, now I have no control.
How could they ship this without even implementing the disable button in the library? This program is so far away from being ready, total fail.
I have a clean installation without any FS2020 files and I am always stuck at 97%, too. I dont think that it has something to do with old marketplace stuff.

I didnāt say they would help just that youāre wasting your time waiting once you see that message and so a restart of the app is a better thing to do. Itās incredibly frustrating and I was stuck at 97% for a day or so then it just worked after repeated restarts.
