Checking for updates? No, we're way past that

Asobo, if you’re going to do mandatory updates at least have the decency to tell us that’s what you’re doing and how big the download’s going to be. Don’t leave us staring at a spinny circle and a frankly disingenuous ‘Checking for updates’ message.
