My MSFS24 gets stuck on loads of things. Suprisingly even on exiting to desktop. I have to kill the process. Is this just me or anyone else experienced this?
Happened here more once. Flight Simulator has to go through a whole bunch of tasks on shut down, and if they’re not working right, even the shutdown function will hang or crash the program.
That reminds me actually, one time after shutting the simulator down, the music continued to play in the background. It was like the process was still running somehow even though it said it had closed. And I haven’t had sound in the game since, it’s completely deaf.
Out of the six times I have left the sim, I had to use Task Manager every time
Whenever I have taken a flight, it has never exited gracefully to the home screen or to the desktop.
I used to be a project manager in videogames on AAA titles for many years, and I can say categorically this title would never, ever have been released to production on my watch, and probably wouldn’t even have been released to beta testing from alpha. It really is shambolic.
yes, it does that, if you wait it out eventually it will exit (im talking 10 minutes) if i have time, i do that, i dont like killing processes, i feel it may corrupt something, like the cache for instance
