Its working here. Maybe disable your windows anti-virus thing which often causes problemes on my end.
I guess this is a good time for me to actually configure all of my hardware mapping as I haven’t touched this sim since first month of release
So you’re saying that your update has started downloading ? on which continent are you ? I try starting up the sim like every 30 mins no update in Switzerland so far.
I am not talking about the update. But my sim is starting without being stuck in the ‘checking for updates’ screen
It took me twice as long on that screen but it progressed. Maybe Microsoft servers are overloaded?
Disabled antivirus , I used the sim 6 hours ago … Still waiting for update

Seems to work in Germany and Switzerland
The updates are usually 5pm GMT, the last two have been anyway

Yes, 1130 (11:30am) right now in Paris and still no update, I am not stucked on check update screen, sim working fine

I also tried disabling AV and FW with no avail.
They’ll handle it on their side.
Too bad updates are mandatory - they should at least allow you to skip instead of making it freeze for hours.
OK I solved my issue , it was manifest.json that had a } missing , strange one character can stop a sim …
So please check last installed scenery … You can thank me later
