Ok, the good news: I managed by restarting to pass the Customize Identity screenâŠ
Now to the bad ones: character model not fully customizable and game crashed (and it looks really beta). Then on to the real thing: Flying! âŠno wayâŠFlight school not working (missions arenât clickable)âŠtried instant flight and all other possibilities: bad connection FS saysâŠalthough I am running a fast system with a stable 250 connection. Will not talk about assigning dead zones to joystick axisâŠcould not manage to find out how this could ever be done. Final surprise: chose âback to desktopâ and had to shut down my PC to get out of the game. Leaning back now and will come around here in spring next year. Hope, then I can fly!
Ok I fixed this by going in to the Limitless folder and running the sim as admin. defo a bug

Iâm with Virgin as well and in the UK with the ame Customize identity issue.
Frustrating is a word that hardly describes the issue !!! perhaps appallling?
I had the same issue so restarted and it has gone back to Activating Packages 8%

The only way I was able to finally get past it on PC was to first connect to a USA VPN server using NordVPN
Where the hell is the .exe file?!
Same with me, the only way I can get the sim to work is via a VPN. But the bandwidth is poor so when I load in I get no buildings at all. It seems that the UK Servers for Microsoft have issues.

My 7950X seems evenly used now, and the sim has higher FPS and seems somewhat smooth, but not entirely stutter free as data loads in and outâŠ

it does that for me almost every time i load the game, but then it will just continue to the game after a while. Quite annoying that it has to do that every time
I think the default location is C:\Users{username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
the FlightSimulator2024.exe is the Content folder there

That seemed to affect something. Now I am stuck after selecting my home airport from the map.
I call it a day. They will get this fixed as time goes by. Good luck guys.

Two days in, and im also stuck on Customize Identity.
