Stuck on Customize Identity

My game is stuck at Customize Identity.

My friend had the same and he restarted but got back at this again too.

anybody got past Customize Identity?
I mean, i have no problems with my identity but with Microsoft :laughing:

nope, stuck there for about 30 mins now…

I restarted the sim and now “too many users are trying to connect at the same time”

yh no idea what customizing there is to do about my identity. I’m fine with how it is :slight_smile:

Been stuck on it for about an hour … deep joy!

When you press Alt-Enter in the customized identity screen (toggle between fullscreen and windowed) you can briefly see an avator of a pilot on the right. Only a split second…

me too, considering restarting but then probably only ending up in the queue with all the other people …

Same here for me… I’ve gone from

  • You’re in a queue but you are TOO many in the queue
  • You’re downloading something NOW - yayyy
  • Basic setup
  • You’re customising identities now and that takes a LONG time…

I just accepted the defaults for now - one can always customize later on.

Mine was still stuck on that screen. I see now they have fixed the issues. I’ll give it another try tomorrow night

same here. no queue and loading went quick. now in customize identity for 10 minutes. hoping for the best. the avatar with the ERROR sign that you can see for a split second when you hit alt+enter (what is even that) doesnt look promising

How did you accept defaults? I literally have a screen with customize entry, I can’t bypass it. Just the spinning wheel. You can’t input anything.

Same here… can’t get past that page.

Definitely an issue. I’m surprised loading the character customization needs to be online to work. Will update if restarting the sim remedies the issue.

Luckily queue time has gone away

Same here.

Playing on Xbox Game Pass and also on the ‘Customize Identity’ screen. Have been loading into it for about 20 mins now.
Will try again after work today. Hopefully it will be resolved soon

Looks like reloading the sim fixed the issue.
