Iāve raised a ticket on Zendesk and I encourage you to do the same.

A quick update.
After doing a reinstall of MSFS, the Sim is now loading into the UK Airports. Iāve not installed the Landmarks London City Pack this time, so Iām not sure if this is the cause of the loading screen freezing or not. Hopefully this has resolved or reduced the loading screen issue.
I will update this post if thereās any changes.
I hope it is just that Orbx needs to update. I have flown three times now from Budapest to Luton only do get all the way to the Essex coast and CTD. Getting pretty annoying wasting so much time.
So far so good. Iāve flown to and from London City Airport without the Landmarks London City Pack installed. Iāve yet to experience a CTD or loading screen freeze. Iāve also done a fresh install of MSFS.
I have this issue on certain airports. All my Orbx airports as well as the Premium version on London Heathrow. Itās been this way since SU5. Really really frustrating
Also getting this, very quick to about halfway then the wheel stops spinning and just freezes.
iām on Xbox S but I have a similar āgeographicā problem. Joining this topic in the hope of getting a solution.
It relates to Germany & Denmark so far as I can see - Austria is ok.
It affects selecting a departure, spawning mid-air above a location and the bush flights.
It SEEMS to post-date the germany update
The sim hangs at about 60%ish while loading or sluggishly goes to 100% and then does nothing.
on Xbox the only way out of that is to restart the machine

Iāve also been getting this where the bar freezes halfway and you have to restart the sim. Iām on Xbox series X and think Iāve found a way around it.
For me itās not just UK but seems to be any larger/busy airport, Iāve had it taking off from Midway Intl (Chicago), Metro Wayne Co (Detroit) as well as Heathrow and Charles de Gaulle.
If I make a flight plan and it gets stuck halfway loading I have to restart and reload the sim, if then make the same flight plan it gets stuck a second time and so on.
However if after Iāve restarted the sim I just depart from a small, low traffic airport with no flight plan it loads properly, then just go back to World map, put in your original flight plan and it seems to work. Iāve done this about 6-7 times so far and worked every time.

Iāve been trying to start the German bush trip since it appeared. That airfield ALWAYS stalls during loading
Did anyone find a fix for this - exactly the same thing is happening for me trying to fly from Heathrow and Gatwick.
I never have installed the London Scenery Pack, so itās not thatā¦
Those of you on PC do you have overclocks?

With that in mind, and having reloaded the sim - I did a straight fly-from-Southampton load up which loaded all the way. -
Then tried loading a Southampton - Heathrow flight - again which loaded perfectly

Crunch time - tried loading a Heathrow to Birmingham flight which to my surprise loaded without issue.
Closed the sim - and an hour and a half or so laterā¦ -
Loaded a Gatwick to Southampton flight without doing a different airport firstā¦loaded first time to my even greater surprise.
Iām going to keep doing these sort of things to see where the consistency is.
To my limited thinking, this is nothing to do with add-ons as I donāt have any in the Community Folder at all at the moment. The āload a smaller airfield firstā fix did work for me after a freeze-up, but I donāt see why doing that first would then make my London based airports suddenly available. There have been suggestions that there are server issues - but surely that wouldnāt just be limited to London based airports?? I dontā see any similar posts from folk trying to take off say from Newark or JFK and getting the same freeze ups as those described here.
Intriguing - and when it does freeze up - incredibly annoying!!!

Has anyone tried changing the server. I am having the same issues too. But yet to try changing server. Tried a total reinstall today but still have the same issue very frustrating as I did have a perfect sim until A few days ago.

just tried Heathrow to Newcastle after loading at a random airstrip. Still the same issue.
Pity mine all sorted now though I did have a few issues. Removed everything and reinstalled one at a time that was a nause. Found that my PC was hanging on the load screen if I had REX airport textures loaded. I removed that and hey presto. To be sure I did it six times and every time it was the same with it installed in the CF it was hanging about half way through the loading screen for the flight. Remove it and the flight loads in 20 secs or so.
You need to update it then, and reinstall the textures.
Excellent advice being given, but it doesnāt solve the issue that those with no āextrasā in the community folder are having exactly the same problemā¦
Agreed and that is a fair point. Have you tried a reinstall yet? That way you can eliminate the software of MSFS. then work through BIOS, graphics cards, etc. I am no expert on this and I was lucky enough to have a brand new PC for my purchase of MSFS. But if you have an older PC would there be old software on there that could effect it in some way? I only run MSFS no other games just productivity stuff Word excel etc.
