Stuttering and Freezing Progressively Worse over Time

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: I think this may be different from the known VRAM issue (RAM leak maybe?) so posting for visibility. Starting a flight, various aircraft and various locations, performance is very smooth. After 10-15min of flight time, it begins to pause for a half-second, every 5 seconds or so (very rhythmic). This gets progressively worse, until it is pausing for several seconds, after every few frames.

When entering the flight pause menu, this issue continues as the camera attempts to pan around the aircraft in the background.

There may be a correlation with interacting with menus before or during a flight.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every single flight.

Update: Twice, I have been able to resolve this by clearing the stored data and restarting the Sim. It comes back eventually, but maybe theres a clue here.

which stored data? Can you eloborate?

I’ve had this problem since SU2 went live but it’s noticeably worse now with SU3. Pretty much unplayable on Xbox Series X with SU3

In your flights do you, at any point, have the EFB Flight Planner app opened? There seems to be a pretty serious bug that causes this kind of stuttering that gets progressively worse until the sim has to be shut down any time that app opens - and the issue continues even once it’s closed and the flight ends. Yesterday I decide transfer from my PC to the living room. I have Xbox ultimate, so I connect controller to the TV and decide to fly MSFS2024. The flight was loaded, but then suddenly crashed!
So not able even to play MSFS2024, then I try MSFS2020 and all went fine… But I wanna 2024…
