'Stuttering when moving the head' effect (Oculust Quest)

Hello. I have a strange effect in the VR: The sim runs really smooth and nice for about 5-8 minutes.
But then - after this running time of 5-8 minutes - it always will begin to have a ‘Stuttering when moving the head’ effect.
This does mean the flight itself stays smooth, but moving the head resp. changing the view will lead to a strong stuttering effect.

I am interested to know if also others do have a similar effect and maybe could solve it.

My system:

  • FS 2020 DVD Box version - should be the same as from MS Store
  • Oculus Quest 1 - Oculus Link (Oculus original cable)
  • i7-9700 3,6 GHz - 16 GB
  • Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super. Using driver 452.06 (clean install)
  • 2 monitor system running in addition to the Quest. Don’t know if this is of interest

Of course I did try all of the several great hints from this forum, incl. clean driver install and adjusting all the settings as recommended in Windows, FS 2020, Oculus software, Oculus Tray Tool, Nvidia and so on. But in my case it did not help.

And just to note: Other ‘Sims’ like Star Wars Squadrons run for hours in VR without having a similar effect. Therefore I assume that this is not a temperature or other hardware issue.

Thanks and regards
