Stuttering with VSYNC On (either in NVCP or MSFS 2020)

Hi, I am suffering from an issue at the moment where having Vsync on either in the NVCP (adaptive or otherwise), or in MSFS 2020, causes severe GPU spiking and stutters. I had this problem back during the 546 Nvidia Drivers but it appeared to have been solved.

Alas it is now back seemingly with all the drivers I test.

If I turn VSync off, then I get no GPU spikes and better performance, but the problem is then the tearing! I dont have a VRR or GSync monitor sadly.

Anyone else come across this or have any suggestions? Have tried loads to remedy it to no avail…

Just wondered if anyone had also experienced this at all?

I have Frame Gen off. Mainly High/Medium settings
RTX 4070 Super, I7-14700KF.

I have observed similar things on my system. I’m using the msfs2024 limited to 30 FPS with FG (60 Hz). Then I experience stutters. Setting it to 29 FPS (58 Hz), everything is perfect. I have a gSync Monitor.
