Stutters when coms panel is up in Boeing 747-8F

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:I noticed on approach that when the com panel came up because ATC was communicating with me, there was a noticeable stutter. When not, things were smooth.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

This was the first time I noticed it, but the phenomonon was consistent.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Begin approach (this was from HECA to KBGR, 747-8F), approach started at about TAFFY

  2. Pay attention to visual cues (eg highways, city lights)

  3. Note graphics smoothness.

  4. Bring up a com panel or let one pop up.

  5. Notice a difference in smoothness/ stutters.
