Before the update i had my TLOD set to 400 and my fps was steady 25-30
But after the SU 10 update its hovering around 10-15 fps and the new DLSS does nothing to my fps
did they make any change to the TLOD distance or it is just broken?

I have a 2080ti and I usually keep my TLOD at 200. Run at 4k and get frames locked at 30. Yesterday I flew from Portland to Seattle and right at TOD my frames tanked- teens, then all the way to 2 FPS. As soon as I hit ESC to go to the menu- back at solid 30. It’s like the 2080ti went to sleep during the flight.
Bottleneck is the 8-year-old CPU (Q3’14), that’s why DLSS is useless.
And TLOD 400 is too high for this CPU.
I have a 2080S card. With refresh rate set to 50% in the sim I can set most of the sliders on full and still get very smooth performance.
@AlexE75 I had no problems before the update.
And i went into the latest SU 11 beta and things seems a bit better…
it might be Windows 11 Latest Dev Build that causing issues!
Well, with SU10, many things have been changed in the core (see here). You only have to minimize the sim settings until it runs smoothly again. With a more modern CPU, you would get more FPS again.
Lower your TLOD to 100. My i7 10700k even struggles to run TLOD@200.
