Why does each update lower the antialiasing?
Hi guys this update 7 the terrain now looks more pixelated and with less anti-aliasing in this update7.
I have also mentioned the low performance and fps loss. i have lod 340… and scale resolt 150…and looks so bad than update 6 .
I’ve noticed this too. Been searching internet for similar experiences. The land and the water are definitely more speckled now. I’ve played with AA etc and can’t cure it. It’s so in your face and looks poor.
Yes, TAA somehow sharpened the scenery again and also lighting got reverted back to SU5 style (high brightness and uncanny fit into the environment). Was happy that they reverted all this in SU6 and made it look fine again, now we are back to before
Same, and blurry-er in VR. I had to crank rendering scale up to 110 from 80. I could not even read large signs on the sides of buildings. And I agree, pixelated and grainy in VR also.
I’ve managed to sort out the antialiasing issue by using Nvidia Inspector, setting antialiasing to override and setting 32x with transparency supersampling to 8x. At 1080p it gives good visuals and almost all aliasing is now gone, I also disabled sharpening and film grain filters in Usercfg file for MSFS, I am now very happy with the results. I also can now set higher settings like clouds ultra which I was not able to do before. This is on a GTX1060.
