Maybe it’s me, but performance has absolutely tanked on the latest beta.
I have championed the performance of 2024 but I can no longer. It’s awful for me right now.
Please fix the menus… Some options can’t be saved.

I actually give up. I am so over pressing Fly Now and having the anxiety of the flight never starting, being sat there for 15 mins wasting my time waiting for the flight load.
I am on the latest Beta, My internet is fine, my PC fine. I just cant do it this anymore. What an absolutely ridiculous thing to have to sit there and worry that your flight will ever load. Such a waste of time. I am out, I cant take it.
That really pains me, but I cant keep going around on this wheel. I really hope it works out better soon.

Have you tried the workaround? Set your flight conditions to “Live Traffic” and your flight will always load quickly. If you don’t want any traffic in the sim, in the General settings menu set Air Traffic to OFF and Airport Traffic Quality to OFF. You will get fast loading and no bothersome sim-injected traffic.

Thanks, I have all traffic off and multi player as well. It just wont load at least not tonight.

Foveated Rendering (FR) works great (I’m using a Meta Quest Pro with Virtual Desktop). However I suggest users should be able to control FR settings, especially the size of the full-resolution “box” please.

Have you put traffic to “Online” in the settings, and then started your flight. It is a workaround until MS fixes the known issue reported earlier in the SU2.
If that doesn’t work, try setting the graphics settings to Low - there are people able to start flights and report feedback, so maybe provide more info on where you are loading to, and with which plane, ect… Have an empty community folder?
Wanna bet they are closing down on the fixes and we are slowly aproaching release? The last 2 patches were meaningless

Performance is still dreadfully poor in VR, the difference between this and 2020 is night & day, I have most settings on Low with this one where as I can run High with 2020.
No word on whether the Logging from early in the beta is still happening or not, so no idea whether that’s the main cause here, communication needs vast improvement during these beta periods.

You will get quick loading but still no sim-injected traffic.

First flight in the .13 version. Fly now zoomed me straight through the earth and into the core then never loaded in.. hit esc then zoomed myself out from the magma, hit it again and straight in. Still a lot of issues with the world map zoom feature..
Flight was fine but performance definitely worse than the last one for me. Lots of mini-hitches and stutters.

That’s the trouble with this build as there is no rhyme or reason as to when it will CTD on Xbox. I have had at least 15 CTD’s on .12. Sometimes but ts in menus, other times it’s upon starting new flight whether free flight or career. It’s so sporadic and hard to pinpoint what’s causing it.

Try disabling frame generation.
Something is wrong with latest build 13. FPS is locked and stable at 90, but it feels like 30. micro micro stutters all the time. Previous build was far more fluid…
I cleaned rolling cache, dx cache, and shaders cache.
Update: The problem was frame counter from game bar that is messing up g-sync. As soon as I removed pined performance window, stutters disapered. False alarm.
