I set it in the sim on “Europe West”! After restart the sim it is always back to “Asien” with the SU3. Also it not save the last using airplane. It is always the “Cessna 172” anyone can help or is it a bug?
Do you have any mods or aircraft, airport installed in the community? I have a time for a late-night coffee, so I can check which server and aircraft I’ll get after the restart. I’ll choose East USA server and the Cessna 152 Aerobat.
I test it without any mods
After the restart, I still have the Cessna 152 Aerobat and the East USA server selected automatically; nothing changes. I’m wondering if maybe one of the system options, specifically the UTF-8 beta, could help because I remember that there used to be a problem where no matter what you selected in MSFS, after a restart you always got the same airport and airplane.
Make sure to enable the Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support option.
Go to Windows settings > time & language > language & region > administrative language settings. Click > change system locale and check Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support.
Click ok and restart PC.
I’m also having the issue of the last used plane reverting to the Cessna 172. Also, my live weather keeps switching to custom on restart of the SIM.
My custom views are also lost on SIM restart.
I do it and the problem still. I use the TwinOtter, change to Europe West and start a fly. I quit and restart and again in Asien Server and the 172 airplane.
I did before with that with this “Use Unicode UTF-8”
I fix it. Just reset my online profil.
But this couldn’t be the solution to reset everything. Last time I did that, I lost all my settings inclusive joystick settings. For me the problem is, that MSFS doesn’t saves the last used Aircraft and that came with SU3.
