ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Since SU4,On MSFS2024 (NOT HAPPENING PRIOR) I noticed annoying “spikes” of engine power on climb out and decent below 15,000 happening at random. It’s happening on the PMDG 777, 737, and IFly MAX8 at the very least.
Important note:
- This is happening to at the very least myself and my friend. We both have the Honeycomb Bravo Throttles.
- Moved the throttles the length of my Honeycomb Bravo while the spikes were occurring. No change. Additionally, with AT engaged, no N1 changes while moving the levers up and down the axis. So, I am very confident this is NOT a hardware issue.
- FMC menu item A/T Manual override is set to “NEVER” so, i know it’s not my hardware.
- Nothing in control settings that show evidence of multiple throttle levers bound
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
3/5 flights since SU4 (NO ISSUES PREVIOUSLY)
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Just a “normal” flight… I took off out of IAH flying to ORD in all three planes. Setup was “the usual” via the FMC. LNAV/LNAV utilized per usual…. PERF page setup as usual…. The spikes happen below 15,000 but NOT always… no issues before SU4.
If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.
