SU5 - 4K fps only

Hi all!

First of all I am impressed from this update, I finally can fly over Paris and NY without having 15fps and I am around over these areas at 35 / 45 fps now.

I’ve opened this topic to take a look to our 4K equipment and understand if we have space for better performances. I see many users posting their new FPS in 1440p and me too if I change the resolution to that, I reach 75fps but as I have a 4K monitor and I love to play everything in 4K, well, here we are!

My config:

AMD 5950X
128GB ram
3080 RTX

FS2020 all ULTRA

In general everything is smooth and the experience is better but over the city areas I can’t reach more than 45fps which is ok as the result is ALWAYS smooth but I am curious to see your results as well.

Ultra preset with textures changed to 8x8 and all shadows 2048 & motion blur off.
All traffic sliders @ 100 also and generic models both off

Getting around 50fps in payware airports in europe
70fps in cruise with the A32NX @ FL300+
My native resolution = 3840x1600
38 inch ultrawide.

It’s pretty close to 4k pixel density.

Your numbers are quite good! I’didn’t try to fly at FL300+ yet and see my fps.
Last night I was trying to check other things in the sim.

In overall I saw my fps has an average of 45 / 50, I hoped just a bit more seeing my config.
I hope to test the VR mode ASAP!
