Sun Glare?

I asked about the Primax because it’s 4K. And mainly I’m talking about the haze.

And then it occurred to me maybe the blue haze is altitude related? I pretty much never fly above 6000 ft. At those levels, the haze looks pretty realistic to me. That line across the horizon is a pain, but I just ignore it.

Kind of like the pixelated clouds. I finally saw my first picture of that tonight, though I’ve never witnessed it in my setup. I didn’t know if it’s 4K vs 1440 related or not?

Sorry, HDR doesn’t mean anything to me (I just don’t know what it means). Are they 4K monitors? The only thing I know about HDR is what I’ve read in reviews, which isn’t normally good in terms of monitor support, but, I don’t know what monitor you have and maybe it supports it really well, and maybe HDR means something? I don’t know. As far as I know, it just allows deeper colors sort of.

Hope it’s obvious I’m looking to see what the difference is between our setups that might make a difference.

Maybe there’s a setting in your monitor that can ameliorate the blueness of the haze? As far as the sun being low on the horizon, I fly in that situation all the time in the sim and often in real life, it hasn’t been a complaint of mine that it’s too much. I have a 2070 super with an LG 55UN7300 TV as a monitor, pretty low end as 4K TV’s go, it was only $379 but I’m very happy with it.
