Sun shades/Sun visors not influencing light in cockpit

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Window shades such as in the inibuilds A330 do not reduce light in cockpit, nor do they change the color of the light.

Yes and Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Fly in A330-300 (RR)
  2. Have sub shiny in cockpit
  3. Use sun shades, notice no difference in light that passes through it.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The seethrough Sunvisor/Shades in all aircraft have no effect on the sun glare, which should be eliminated by the sunvisor when the sun is viewed through them.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
No. However, this is experienced in 1st party aircraft as well as 3rd party.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Everytime.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load into a flight in an aircraft with a seethrough sunvisor
  2. Set weather to clear
  3. Place the sun in the viewpoint of the sunvisor

Yes. It happens in any aircraft that has these type of visors. It seems to be a limitation where developers can’t reduce the sun glare.
