Supercarrier Pro - Miltech Simulations - MSFS Load Time

Anyone experience slow loading of MSFS after installing this add-on by Miltech? Went from a load time of around 3 to 4 minutes to over twelve minutes for the SIM to load. Uninstalled this add-on, load times back to around three minutes or so. Re-installed the add-on, back to over twelve minutes to load MSFS. It’s a pity, I quite liked this Supercarrier add-on, but due to the load times after installing it, I decided to remove it.

Miltech pretends the issue is on MS Encryption side:

if the issue is really on MS side, it is weird that the issue occurs only with supercarrier.

There is a simple solution (for PC) from MilTech via link posted:
“For any customer encountering issues with Supercarrier Pro, transferring their license to our website will resolve the issue. Please email us (Contact) and we’ll get your copy transferred over.”

thanks I know their solution, but I don’t trust Miltech. at the beginning they told me the issue was not reported by any other customer, so the issue was coming from my installation for sure. now they admit the issue exists but they are blaming MSFS while the issue occurs only with their addon. no way I follow their solution.

This issue has indeed been identified as an issue with Microsoft encryption systems and unfortunately, it seems to be only affecting Supercarrier Pro for some reason. It is still under investigation by the Asobo team to find a final solution to the problem.

Supercarrier Pro is a very complex product, making use of various MSFS SDK Technologies, as well as a lot of custom code. There is no other product like Supercarrier Pro in the market and as such it may suffer some unique issues.

Must note that this issue only occurs on licenses distributed by the MS Marketplace, and only occurs on PC. No reports of this issue on Xbox, nor it happens on copies distributed via our website or ORBX. 100% of customers who have contacted us and gotten their licenses transferred to our site have had this issue fixed. Unfortunately this is the only definitive solution until we get more information by the Asobo/Microsoft team.
