Feeling awfully dumb at the moment! My forum theme all of a sudden changed to Dark and I cannot get it back to Light. I followed the steps above but I no longer see Light and Dark as options, only “Microsoft Flight Simulator” and “Microsoft-Flight-Simulator-1.11.54”. Selecting either and saving makes no difference.
Yeah I was on here earlier today and it was normal light mode and then I came back just a little bit ago to dark mode and no way to turn it off. I know some people like this dark mode thing but for me it’s basically ocular torture.
Yeah…me too. I go blind with this theme – not kidding… I have an eyesight disorder that reverses dark and light and places that over top of what I am trying to look at. This theme is mucHHARDER ON MY EYES THAN THE lIGHT THEME"
Hi, another vote for getting back the light theme.
I know almost everyone is raving about dark mode etc and they try to tell everyone it is less straining the eyes. But the opposite is true. With the background all dark your pupils have to open up wider and that narrows the depth of field in your vision. So the eyes have to do more work when focusing which puts more strain on them.
And if they are as old as mine this means quite some struggle.
I really hope we can get the light theme back.
