Maybe I’m missing something here after the SU5 update, but how on earth do you switch from heading to NAV mode?? With A/TH on, how do you roll back the throttle, because the aircraft stays at steady speed evan after decreasing the knob. Also, is anyone else getting awful thrust/power on climb? This SU5 update really screwed things up!
Have you updated to the latest dev version? I had similar issues but seem OK now.
I am doing that as we speak. I updated a few days ago. Hopefully this fixes it. I just hate how the buttons light up blue and some are different to control.
Go into “Options → Accessibility” and change the control mode back to “legacy” instead of “lock”.
WHEW! I just did that. In a test flight and it seems to be back to normal!!
Until the MSFS live weather bug is fixed, you should use a weather preset or custom weather if you experience exceedingly high temperatures. At these temperatures (which are beyond the operating envelope of the airplane), there will be insufficient thrust to climb to altitude or maintain speed. The airplane will also burn excessive amounts of fuel.
Thats why I love this forum! I was away for 12 days and came home to this update. I always have live weather on and noticed very high temps! Haven’t flown long enough to monitor fuel, but Ill keep an eye on it.
