1.0.11 is broken. If you haven’t updated yet, DO NOT UPDATE and stick with 1.0.10 for now.
Actually, instead of fixing the v1.0.11 they reverted back to v1.0.10 on IniManager.
Thank you so much for this valuable info. I was going to run the update today, so you’ve saved me from the anguish of a not-so-good experience.
What is the problem with v1.0.11 btw?
For me it was just a dead airplane when loading into a flight. No power on batteries, nothing.
On the Discord they said something was up with the DRM and it bricked the plane.
That v1.0.11 is back on IniManager. Let’s see how it goes this time ![]()
I’m experiencing similar problems as last week. What’s going on?!
It seems the update is still broken…
EDIT: They released a new version, 1.0.11a. This one seems to be working.
It appears a second update, 1.0.11a, has been released. This one seems to at least get the plane running.
Last week they reverted to a version where the plane had auto window blinds. It seems these have been removed now. I enjoyed them and I hope they’ll reintroduce them at least as an option.
new update V1.0.11a
Hello everyone,
I updated my guide to reflect changed in the latest Airbus manuals, use the link below, free as always:
Safe landings!
I’m very new to the A220; I’ve been watching many Youtube tutorials, though, and they have been helping a great deal.
I just recently updated to v.1.0.11a, and with the first two flights that I attempted, I had the A/T disengage during takeoff, and subsequently, could not re-engage it. I did not have this issue prior to the update, and it just might be a coincidence, but I’m wondering if perhaps I’m doing something wrong?
Is AAM fully implemented now or is the flightsim.to mod still need3d ?
You can check here if you are using the correct procedure or technique:
There is an option in the EFB to prevent overruling the AT and AP.
The last time I checked the flightsim.to version was more accurately representing the real AMM. Might have changed by now
.
Thank you so much for your referral; such a tremendous wealth of information (although a good portion of it is way above my pay grade…
)
I did go over the section regarding the auto throttle, and then T/O procedure, and discovered that it was, as I suspected, pilot error; it seems that I was “baby-ing” the throttles somewhat during take off, as I didn’t get them to the proper position quickly enough, and the AT disconnected. I corrected that on my next flight, and take off went smoothly.
Thanks again for taking the time to help!
Just be aware that while that guide is a tremendous effort by the author, it is meant to be applicable to a real world A220, and that some things may not be simulated to work the same way in the Synaptic aircraft. In fact A220driv3r has stated several times he does not even use the sim.
The Synaptic A220 is meant to behave like the real thing (from what I have seen it does) and I’m sure that those features that are not implemented yet (or perhaps incorrectly) will be included in the future. So far I haven’t received complaints about the A220 not behaving as described in my documentation.
But of course, things like non-normal procedures, flight planning, performance, weight and balance MEL / CDL etc. are only for those interested in learning more about the aircraft where Synaptic does not currently simulate failures, and most just use the EFB and Simbrief for everything else.
Don’t ask me how to use the Synaptic EFB, key bindings, sensitivity settings, etc. those sim specific things I obviously don’t know.
