I flew the T6 today but did not do a visual from the outside before I tried to land - U/C up! On final I hit the G and it made a noise I assumed was the U/C lowering but I cannot find the U/C lights.
Tied searching everywhere but could not find.

The landing gear up/down indicator is just a sliding indicator that’s located on the far left lower view next to the flap indicator.

With my slow fingers, I’m the one that’s usually ninja’d here!! 
But I do like your closeup of the unit. I never did check to see if the other versions of the T-6 are any different, but I assumed that a basic aircraft module like this would be standardized throughout all the T-6 family.
