ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

I have been experiencing an issue with driver versions 595.xx and 596.xx. When I revert to version 591.xx, everything runs smoothly again. It seems this problem is related to texture resolution. I didn’t notice any flickering while using DLSS, but as soon as I switched to DLSS Ultra Quality, the flickering reappeared. Additionally, there is always annoying flickering with TAA. Could you please investigate what might be causing this problem?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. I have installed NVIDIA drivers version 595 or 596.

To reproduce the issue, follow these steps:

1. Open MSFS 2024.

2. Select the default C172 aircraft and choose KHWO or any other default scenery.

3. Activate the master switch. As soon as you do this, the flickering begins.

It’s worth noting that this flickering issue does not occur if you activate DLSS. However, if you use the NVIDIA Inspector profile and set a custom rendering mode to 95%, you may experience red or black flickering in textures.

MEDIA

Hi,

I’m also on a RTX 5070Ti facing the same texture flickerings. What fixed the issue for me was rolling back to Nvidia driver vers. 577.00.

Some other users said turning on Nvidia overlay could also be a workaround.

Thank you for responding to this topic. I had to roll back to driver version 591.74.
