So I seem to be getting a black screen for my main Garmin window on the TBM 850. I’ve tried uninstalling then reinstalling the various WT Garmin updates. I’ve tried running it without the Garmin updates. Still, I get this black screen. Any thoughts? Am I missing a button somewhere?
This is my first go-around with the 850, so i wouldn’t be surprised if I am missing something…
Never mind… I’m a doofus and didn’t have the GTN750 installed. Move along… Nothing to see here. Oof.
Switch located below “Radio Master” let’s you select different Garmin suite
GTN750 is not mandatory !
Yeah, if only I would actually read the instructions. That would make life so much easier. Ha!
I had the same issue with the GTN 750 WT expansion. After spiling very much time and nervs, I found, that the circuit braker was red. After pushing it in, the GTN was visible for about 10 seconds, then CB was red again. I had to set the failers to zero. Now it’s a very safe aircraft with a working GTN 750 WT.
