TBM-850 GPS Issue

Hi I recently purchased the TBM-850 and have a GPS problem. The manual says that the free pms50/gtn750 mod works with this aircraft-which it does. However when I leave the mod in the community folder it stops the default GNS530 from working correctly. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
