Please can anybody help me with this bird? I love flying this aircraft but the problem is that when I try flying at night, those marked icons in the uploaded picture does not illuminate I have tried everything to get them illuminated. It’s the vanilla TBM no mods in my community folder that might impact or conflict with this. Thank you in advance.
There is a dimmer switch on the overhead panel (left side, next to the taxi/landing/strobe lights). Rotate that and see what happens.

i did rotate that many times while i have the dimmer on off. still nothing happened as much as i love flying this bird, this the big turn off for me and more it keeps crashing my game almost all the time
Any mods or liveries?
Any other ctd happening or just with the tbm?
If not, uninstall it from the content manager, restart msfs,
Re install the the tbm, and then restart msfs again. Might be corrupted.

I’m not sure I’m reading your post correctly. Did you mean you don’t have any TBM mods, or you don’t have ANY mods in the community folder? If you have anything in the community folder, then try it without anything in it (or just rename it to something else rather than emptying it). Often a seemingly completely unrelated mod can have adverse effects on things.
I don’t have any issues with those buttons lighting up (although some only show the light under specific conditions such as the APR button). In fact the FD button will NOT turn off. There’s currently not an option to change the FD input in the PFD options, so If I press it to turn it off, it just comes back on. In your screenshot, the XFR button is lit (the arrow on the left). If you press it, it should light an arrow on the right side.

Thank you for your response. What I mean is that I don’t have any mod in my community folder that is related to TBM. When I click on the APR button for example, the white light beside it lights up but when I’m flying in the dark the background light for those buttons are off and I won’t be able to see what button I need to click unless I use the flashlight. It’s only this TBM that I’m having problems with.
As you said I’m going to empty my community folder and reload the game to see if there would be any changes.

You can’t delete the TBM in Content Manager. That plane, the C152 and a few others are mandatory content no matter which version of the sim you own.
The only way to delete it is to delete the TBM folder in the Packages. That is not a supported workaround. It would get reinstalled on next sim start though.

to my ssurprise, when i run the tbm mod called “tbm improvements” those lights works fine. that mod crashes my sim many times
Well, if you’re running a mod, you’ll need to check with the Mod author on the crashes.

I’m not currently running any mod i just mentioned that when i was running mod, it worked fine
Is it possible you have a conflicting key binding associated with the lights?
This sounds like a one off or rare issue, and binding could be where to look.

I had the same problem. If you click on a spot near the knob, the panel lights come on bright.
The sweet spot does not have a hand but if you fiddle around you can find it. Sorry I cant tell you exactly whare it is as it is a bit of hit & miss.

I didn’t even bind any key to both interior and exterior lighting of the sim. So I’m sure it’s not key binding. But when install TBM improvement mod, the lights worked the way they should work. That’s why I feel like something is wrong with I feel like something is wrong with the asobo TBM
