I’m marking this partial, because if they are brighter, they still don’t project much light ahead of the aircraft. The taxi light, for example, really doesn’t help one see during taxiing. Next to the aircraft, closer to the light source’s origin, the light is very bright. However, that isn’t helpful for seeing in the distance during taxiing.

Although I think the lights are brighter and I can see more ahead and to the sides at night than before this update, they don’t provide enough illumination to see what’s around very well. To test, I tried the C208 at night. I don’t know what it’s like at night piloting a real plane, however.

Still not sufficient brightness to see what is around when taxiing. Adding to the problem is the lack of lines and markings in certain areas of airports.
No. They’re in the process of trying to fix this in SU12. Asobo need to get this right. If we still have to rely on 3rd party mods to make it work, then that defeats the purpose of this SU.

As the op said. The lights are brighter on the ground right around the aircraft, but still just as dim at a distance and hard to see where we’re actually taxiing.
