For troubleshooting and ruling out a hardware problem, I’d suggest to start MSFS without the joystick connected.
Do you have FSUIPC installed?
No. Zero add ons and an empty community folder.
Renaming or emptying the community folder would also be a step for troubleshooting.
Even liveries are known to cause aircraft control problems.
just disconnected everything yoke and rudder on flight to see if the AP correct auto correct everything but it continue the same.
If it’s not the hardware, the only items I can think of, are the wrong flight model or an incompatible add-on.
A last resort would be to delete the TBM folder, exit MSFS, restart and let the sim redownload the TBM.
I dont have any add on either. Only vpilot to flight online. But this does not affect flight modelling. By the way you have never had this problem ?
I had strange problems after SU IV. Had to cycle to the legacy flight model, back to modern and the problems were gone, but they were completely different in nature.
Yours has been reported quite often and it’s usually either the legacy flight model or too small deadzones.
Ok just realized I had mine in Legacy mode, thought this was the best one. Im going to try now switching to Modern and will do the assessment. Thanks!
And again, modern is the only valid option.
That was the single question in my very first reply and I mentioned it 4 times in this thread…
The ability to switch flight models was one of the worst decisions Asobo/MS could make.
It makes absolutely no sense and using legacy is the reason for ~90% of the complaints.
Many thanks once again! Will let you know.
I’ve tried this as well
I will try modern mode when I’m back home
That’s defintitely the solution. You could have been flying straight and level since 3 days ![]()
99% of the time if aircraft is not following AP its your sensitivity settings - no hard answer on how to change yours just play with them until it works
This is for ref works for my Saitek yoke
Sensitivity has been ruled out already.
A 24% deadzone wouldn’t be acceptable for me.
I’ve exchanged my T16000M with a new one when the required deadzone was exeeding 7%, because aircraft control became too imprecise.
It was only a guide - I noticed A320 wouldn’t work after playing with sensitivity settings - it works now so thinking thats where most of these issues are arising from
Looks like modern mode is what did it. Much appreciate!!!
I’m having this problem with the TBM. When I fly the KA350i I do not have this problem. When I disconnect the AP the plane acts like it hit something midair. It still happens even of I keep the AP ON and disconnect my rudder.
Have you check PZL104 post ?, are you using Modern or Legacy mode ?
