"TELEX not Enabled"?

When I try to send a message in the A320nx mod from the AOC FREE TEXT menu item, I get “TELEX not Enabled”. What does this mean? How do I send messages to players in game?

@RarefiedDrop499, you have to go to the MCDU MENU button and go to Option. Then there’s the settings to enable free text messages.

The TO however, must be the flight number. Not the Xbox gamertag. And the flights must be using A32NX mod as well and have a unique flight number and also currently actively flying.

How does one get the flight number? I would like to be able to communicate with players in the game as I meet them.

You can’t… that’s the thing… not unless you contact them first somewhere, get their flight number and use that flight number in the MCDU free text.

Myself, since my Gamertag has a number assigned from my Xbox account, I always fly with the flight number 4316. So when people see my gamertag flying, they can see my Neo4316 and “hopefully” understand that they can use 4316 as the flight number to contact me using the MCDU.

But this is my personal standard that I always follow. I can’t say the same that other people would display their gamertag number and always fly using that exact same flight number.
