Now that the career mode is not affected with the new beta i am tempted to switch.
Any vr players on su2 beta and is it worth it?
It always seems like msfs beta are 1 step forward but also a few steps back. Things that works perfectly are in a beta suddenly broken
Yes! I have a RTX 4090, Virtual Desktop and a Quest 3
VR is much greater then in su1. Go for it!
PS: If you don’t like it, you can revert back to su1
You are not a person that likes to put up with inconvenience and this is a beta and as such you will probably get a lot of inconvenience.
So, I am not going to try to talk you out of do it. Just please remember that it is not a stable release PLUS the objective behind the release is for you to test things and report back with things both positive and negative.
If you just want to fly what you fancy and not have the bother of things not working as you would like then maybe it would be best for you to stay on SU1 until SU2 is released.
Completely up to you.
As stated, its beta so some issues are to be expect. As far as comparing to SU 1, its a step in the right direction for sure.

Going to beta you are going to become beta tester. For now you will for example face: Navigraph VR in-game panel non-functional, VATSIM Radio (VSR) VR in-game panel non-functional, HDR non-functional on the entire Windows, etc.
