Terrain tiles change brightness loading different levels of detail (LOD)

Description of the issue: In some places, as you fly, qadratical tiles in front of the aircraft change their color/brightness. It looks as if tiles of different LOD have different brightness, maybe they were processed from different sources of data. This change of brightness makes the tile loading process visible and thus destroys the immersion.

The issue is confined to some regions, it’s not noticible everywhere.
This issue persists for months since the release and has (imho) not improved in any of the sim updates so far. Video created with FS2024 SU2 released.

ICAO, coordinates, or specific location: Very obvious on the southern shore of Lake Natron. See steps below.

How often does this occur for you? Every time at the specified location.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start a flight at (or around) S2.636 | E35.951, S of southern shore of Lake Natron. Ideally choose an aircraft with good visibility of the ground like the Sky Rascal.
  2. Optional: Use slew mode to lower aircraft to 3000ft.
  3. Fly and watch the ground in front of the aircraft loading darker tiles as you come closer.
