Tested the new 526.86 driver, here are the VR results (4090, 13900kf)

I tested the new drivers. Two images, above 526.86, below 526.47.

As usual in my tests, all VR, 4090, 13900kf, 32 GB DDR5 @ 6400 etc.

Ingame render scale 100, OpenXR render scale 200. DLSS Performance.
All VR options are on Ultra, but Occlusion, Light Shafts and Reflections (on Low).

All tests are an aggregation of 5 different runs (median three). So 6 texts = 30 runs :slight_smile:

As you can see, no big changes - maybe a little more “consistency” in the rendering times of consecutive frames.

Please note these tests are done with a replay, so they’re “on a track”, let’s say. This evening I’ll try flying for real (moving head, and so on).

EDIT: did some flying over Tokyo and New York, and I can confirm there are no visible changes from previous driver, everything works fine. Maybe a little better - with Motion RP, over NY I was able to get 45 FPS for some parts of the flight, yesterday it was stuck at 30.

Final notes:
58 = 58 FPS bloced (H: with HAGS)
U = free FPS (H: with HAGS)
NT = No OpenXR Toolkit (T = Toolkit activated, only Fov rendering)
NRPO, NRPG = no motion retroprojection of any kind
NH = Holographic Shell off (to solve the W112 22H2 issue)

You are a legend, mate! I downloaded 526.86, but haven’t DDU’ed my current driver (522.25).

I’ll hold off if there are no significant improvements in any area. Pretty happy with 522.25, to be honest. So unless there is a compelling reason to move off of it, I’ll hold.

Thanks for all the testing!! Really helps the community.

Great work !!!Can you share the render resolution for your tests?

I’ll add it in the first post!
