The current 747 is such a regression from the one in 2020; is there a way I can fly the 2020 version in 2024?
I no longer have MSFS 2020 installed to check but I think you can simply copy and paste the 2020 version into 2024. You would put it in your Community folder. I’m not 100% sure where it would be located in 2020 but see if it’s located in the Official folder. Look for a folder with “Asobo” and “747”.
Well, that was easy! 
I do still have 2020 installed and copied the aircraft and livery folders from there to 2024 community folder, and bingo! I’ve just enabled external power and will see how many functions have come along for the ride.
