Hello, is this post related to a specific third-party addon, or a request for third-party developers to address this?
There is a DLC I think it is called global ships or global vessels 2.0 (sorry I am currently not at home to check it). This should add superb ships, freight ships, private yachts and everything you could imagine to all oceans, seas, harbors… 
a wasteland of deadware !
