The interior lighting potentiometer and set key bind options do nothing in-game

I generally fly the 172 but I’ve tried this with several aircraft that have variable interior lighting knobs and all are effected.

In Options > Controls > Lights > Interior Lights. There is several options for each interior light (Panel, Radios, Glareshield, and Pedestal). Take Panel for example. There is options to assign a key/button for “Panel Lights On”, “Panel Lights Off”, and “Set Panel Lights”. There is also Bindings for “Increase Light Potentiometer” and Decrease Light Potentiometer”.

I have tried different combinations of bindings and key presses to get these functions to work. If you use the mouse to turn on the light; then you can use the “ON” and “OFF” key binds to turn it on and off at the level of brightness that you set with the mouse. But the “SET” and “POTENTIOMETER” do nothing. So it is not possible to adjust any of the interior lights with the provided key bind options.
Hope to see this oversight corrected.

I did a quick test and seen the same problem.

Note:
I do not use this “Bindings for “Increase Light Potentiometer” and Decrease Light Potentiometer” in any of my setups. I just use the switches and knobs in the VC cockpit and default keyboard keys.

Today no chance, perhaps in upcomming updates.
I tried it out with Pete Dowson from FSUIPC, if you are interested, see Link below:

So it’s just not possible yet. I can understand it not being an axis. It seems like it would make more sense to have them set up as a graduating key/button press.
