  • Buys add gift items flying points with SKYMALL magazines.

  • Interactions?: Shake hand, hug, fight…?
  • Feedback Emojis to Cockpit

  • ‘Back to seat’ button puts you back in seat and seat-belted

  • Emergency landing evacuations.

CAPTAIN PILOT

  • Announcements Pre-Recorded or Custom
  • Voice / media communications with Passengers
  • Pilot Avatar can join interior cabin
  • Video Montor (movie) controls
  • Reward Passengers ( frequent flyer points ?)
  • Gain experience with each flight and gain more interactive abilities?
  • Select custom interiors
  • Heat/Cold Control ( that passenger sims will feel)
  • Pilot/Passenger games
  • Sightsee challenges

A great wishlist. I’d just add that it would be nice to have a small passenger ‘back-of-seat’ screen with the usual in-flight real-time map, with info such as distance traveled/still to go, current speed, etc., and any other reasonable in-flight info. All I really need to know as a passenger is where we are, what time it is, and how far there is left to go. A real-time estimated time of arrival would be nice, too.

A flight can be a very relaxing and almost meditative experience, just watching the ground move below you…

I suggested a slightly a slightly different “passenger experience,” where it actually would be a feature of the sim rather than third-party tool. The main idea being a (potentially free) version of the sim with nothing but the rendering engine and camera interaction, allowing sim-pilots to invite friends and family for the ride. (A video stream kind of works, but allowing passengers to freely look around improves the experience; even more so using VR.) Not only could it be a fun and educational way of socializing, it could be a great way to introduce more people to the hobby and in the end, increase sales… (See Passenger-version of MSFS to break the isolation. Yes, another old post, but I still think it’s kind of a neat idea.)
